Lebanon’s ‘Feed a Family Food Drive’ Exceeds Goal, Raises Over 2,600 lbs. of Food For Charity

The Lebanon community showed their true colors right before Christmas at the Feed a Family Food Drive at the Coop Foodstore on Thursday. Sometimes the thinking of donations can be a lot less when you’re only a few days from the holiday.

That was not the case. With the help of our Upper Valley country music station 95.3 & 107.1 The Wolf, Vermont’s Local 22 & Local 44 television station, and Springfield Automart, the food drive was able to raise over 2,600 pounds of food, and over $500 in cash

2600 pounds of food, over $500 in cash, and very happy and appreciative recipients of the donations at the Woodstock…

The extremely happy and appreciative recipients of the donations were the Woodstock Community Food Shelf and Claremont Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry.

A big thanks to everyone who was able to donate and participate in a GREAT day; and special thanks to Co-op Food Stores, and of course the hundreds of people who made generous donations.

Beating the record with almost 2500 pounds of food collected!! Thank you to everyone who donated and to Local 22 and Local 44 for all their publicity with this Feed A Family Food Drive
